For many guys, the fear of approaching a girl or woman he doesn't know completely paralyzes him. He really wants to go up and talk to her but he is too afraid to do it. At the end of the day / night he wants to kill himself for not even trying. Overcoming this problem is very very hard, and takes a lot of courage and hard work, so if you're looking for a quick solution, you won't find it here. The best quick method I found to approaching women without being afraid is to get drunk. Of course that won't help you a lot in mid day.
However, I'm about to reveal a quick shift in your mindset that can help you reduce this fear instantly.
Most of the time, guys don't dare to approach a woman because they're afraid of what the outcome will be:
" What if she shoots me down? "
" What if she ignores me? "
" What if she thinks I'm ugly? "
Etcetera..
I won't lie to you, these concerns aren't unimportant. But if you didn't even try, you'll never know.
Here are some mind shifts you have to make before approaching a woman:
1 - Don't think of her as an unreachable goddess.
That's right - she's a human being, just like you and me, she's not perfect, she wasn't sent from heaven, she's just a normal person who happens to be attractive.
If you can't get rid of her status as 'Goddess' in your mind, just imagine her taking a really big shit, or throwing up. That'll knock her off your mental throne in no-time.
It might sound silly or even gross, but it really helps, in a matter of seconds your view of this girl changes completely and you'll stop placing her ABOVE you.
2 - Stop being concerned of what the outcome might be.
What's the worst thing that can happen? I'll tell you: if the girl is a complete bitch, she'll be rude to you. That's it. She won't slap you in the face or kick you in the nuts. She'll just be rude. If you can't even handle a little bitchy girl, then I'm not sure if you should be reading this article. This might sound shocking to you: but most girls are very friendly. Even when a girl's not interested, she'll at least be polite. And if she's a complete bitch to you, then you wouldn't wanna hook up with a girl like that in the first place.
3 -Remind yourself that it's just talking.
You're not trying to pick this girl up or are trying to get with her on the spot. You're just starting a friendly conversation. The best mindset to have getting into a conversation with a girl is that YOU might be interested in her, it's not her call. If you like her and the conversation's going well, ask for her number or e-mail address. If you don't, walk away. Remember: the only control a woman has over you is the control you ALLOW her to have over you.
Using these 3 will surely help you reduce your fear of approaching a girl.
