Financial Freedom is within your grasp. I know this because it is within everybody's grasp.

Some folks, though, won't get off the couch or turn off the TV long enough to reach out and take hold of it. Determined folks, like you, are certain there is a pathway to success, a road to financial freedom, worth traveling.

The fact is, there are many roads. Some are longer than others and some wind around, even crossing themselves so you think you're back at square one--while others just go straight.

Never has there been a quicker, straighter path than exists right now. Never in our history has it been so simple, so doable for anyone to realize financial freedom for themselves.

The whys & hows are not within the scope of this article, but you already know most of them. You have heard, and likely have even stated, the expression "the world gets smaller every day."

You understand that you can walk into a library, pull up a computer, sign up for a free yahoo mail account, send a message to someone on the other side of the world, and have an answer right back--and do it all absolutely for free.

And since you realize that, you know that you can successfully commence your own home business. You may not know how yet, but you absolutely know you can.

Remember, there are many paths, but the straightest and most direct road to financial freedom you can travel right from home. You can follow the path when you are not at work, or if you are between jobs , no matter why, you may be able to go faster down the path to get to the end faster.

It is a direct road, but it is not without risk--both simple and difficult. Picture a road heading just where you want to go that has some rocks to get around, possibly a river to pass, and some thick overgrowth to get through.

Will you abandon your dream?

That depends.

Most folks do turn back or just not start. They won't create the home business of their wildest fantasies that enables them to realize all of their dreams and even more that they have not considered possible.

So what is holding you back?

Think for a bit about what you learned in school. Not that which you were taught, which is vital also, but what you learned. It has everything to do with whether you will be successful at your home business.

Let's make the distinction very clear that we're discussing what you learned, what is part of you, rather than what you were specifically taught.

You were taught facts in subjects like geometry, Spanish, history, social studies. Once finishing your primary education, usually taking 12-14 years, you may have gone on to higher learning and invested another 2, 4 or even 8 years or more in your education.

Regardless of your current profession or purpose, of the subject matter, of what you've gone on to do with the information, you made decisions and formed beliefs during this impressionable time.

Do you know what they are?

Probably not. But it isn't extremely difficult to figure them out.

How did you feel when you performed great: maybe you aced a difficult test, gave a perfect rendition at the school concert, scored the winning point in the end-of season hockey game? Did you feel awesome?

What about the time you had an off day and lost the game, got in trouble for poor behavior, failed a test? How did you feel then?

This pattern happened over and over and over, and over again, for ten, fifteen, twenty or more years. It became ingrained, and it did so quickly.

You absorbed during your school years that people become disappointed when you don't and are proud of you when you do well. You might also have learned that you get punished when you don't do well and you get rewarded when you do well.

Your behavior to this day is a direct result.

But, as you are now aware of this, you can adapt accordingly. Success is fantastic, it feels fantastic, and you do get rewarded for it.

But failure too is great and has its' own rewards too! In trying new things, going out on a limb, in everything in life, failure is how we learn to improve:

In 1879, Thomas Edison invented the first commercially practical incandescent electric lamp--after failing hundreds and hundreds of times. What would life today be like if Edison had turned back?

Brian Tracy, the well known personal and business self-improvement author says, "It is impossible to succeed without failing. Failure is a prerequisite for success."

And Michael Jordan, best known for his professional basketball career with the Chicago Bulls, but also known for many other achievements, has said, "I've missed over 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."

So what then is not great? Neither failing nor succeeding. Again quoting Michael Jordan, "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying."

Running a home business can be as straightforward as selling a few things on eBay or sharing your favorite multi-level marketing products with family and friends. Except for some possible exceptions, these are not a pathway to financial freedom.

Financial freedom is at hand. It may have been surprising to comprehend when you started reading this, but your beliefs should already be changing. Whether you choose to run your own business from home or take the curvy, long pathway, the choice is yours.
