The Children of the Dump is one such organization that came into being in the year 1998. It was originally called “Feed the Children Vallarta” but later changed to The Children of the Dump.

This program feeds up to 2,300 children every day through the constant help of donations. This organization is host to nine day care centers and also an after-school program which caters to the children ranging from grade 3 to 6. These classes teach them not only basic English language skills but also mathematics and computers. The main goal and agenda of Children of the Dump is not just to provide food for the needy but also to provide basic necessities to these children. These basic necessities comprise of fundamental education which provides them with the necessary skills to stand on their own feet and stand up to poverty. The indispensable education of these children is done up to grade nine which at least provides the children with basic educational requirements.

Now you too, can be a part of this noble cause. Imagine how a little contribution from you can lead to a flourishing generation. Children of the Dump, now requires your help in order to educate these children. With just $ 1 USD per day you can help keep give one deprived child education by keeping him in the School of Champions. The School of Champions needs about 300 donors who can be committed in contributing annually $ 1 every day for their complete school year. This will help this school organize and map out their complete budget for the year to come. This will educate a total of 300 children who are enrolled in the after school program called Magisterio and Volcanes.

Owing to the depleting economical conditions of Puerto Vallarta, there might be a decline in the donations which will cater the children of Puerto Vallarta and providing them with education in the programs: Feed the Children Vallarta and the School of Champions, respectively. Therefore, keep an open heart, and donate generously. This organization would not be able to make their goals come true without your support. The operations that need to be taken care of include the expenses of the teachers, the student meals, supplies, maintenance and utilities.

This is a great cause which would remain incomplete without the constant help and support of the people of Puerto Vallarta. It would be very hard to begin the school term in its full glory in September without your donations. You would not want the fate of these champions to suffer because they deserve a lot more.
