The Water is Not Hot

First step, remove its upper thermostat cover plate for you to examine the high limit control button. If it has tripped, simply press the control button to reset it. You can observe that it is labeled with L2 and L2. if the power is absent, then have a look at the wiring or the circuit breakers of the water heater.

And it is possible also that either the upper or the lower thermostat is faulty. You can see that, when one of these do not have power.
