Admit or not, watching TV is a big part of our lives. They say the normal person spends at least several hours a day in front of their TV set.
Unfortunately TV watching has also gotten expensive. That monthly cable bill just seems to grow and grow.
Well now there's a way to have access to TV shows either completely free, if you don't mind doing a lot of searching. Or, for small up front fee you can get some software that will make your TV watching life easier.
As for the web sites that provide TV completely free, there are several of them. Two of them are hulu and veoh. Also you can go the the web sites of the various TV networks, such as ABC or Fox and watch their shows for free.
While these may be good alternatives for some people, most people will find that they are inconvenient. They show old shows and they tend to promote certain shows over others. That makes it hard to find what you want to watch.
Some people say that watching TV on the internet isn't legal. The reason is that many of the software providers convert satellite TV signals to a live feed and send them over the internet.
The answer is that it is perfectly legal. The stations that are being broadcast are FTA or "Free To Air" satellite stations. They are being broad cast worldwide. The software just allows you to get all the stations without a satellite dish or receiver.
