Getting MLM Leads. Better Way Than Pay Per Click?

I got a call from a guy not too long ago who introduced himself as “Ulyses”. He was wondering if I had ever heard of “leapfish.com”. I hadn’t.

Turns out that leapfish.com is a search engine. Not just a search engine. This is a search engine that kicks major hiney!

I couldn't believe I’ve never heard of it.

Ulyses took me through a demonstration on the phone, with me at my computer and I was very impressed.

Firstly, leapfish.com simultaneously searches Yahoo, MSN, and Google and displays the results for all three in a very simple display.

It gives three “news” results from the MSN search engine right at the top, just under the three paid links (I guess these three positions at the very top of the page are the similar thing to Google's pay-per-click adds, but you don't pay per click for them, more in a moment).

Then just below that are the list of results, with a convenient little toggle button just to the right of the search results list that lets you to instantly swap out all the Google results listings for the Yahoo listing, or the MSN, back and fourth instantly. This is pretty cool!

My favorite aspect of leapfish.com is the video results.

The vids come up as thumbnails, like they normally do on Yahoo and Google but the neat part is that when you position your cursor over the thumbnail the thumbnail starts playing the video within the thumbnail without having to click anything. So I could just move my mouse over each one to see for a brief moment whether there was any content I was interested in, and if not I could just slide on over to the next one without having to click anything or waiting for a new page to open up or for it to load. I think this is awesome. Some may say that I’ve just gotten way to lazy. That is a definite possibility but I work on-line all day and I feel the need… the need for speed!

The point it: The folks at leapfish.com do not offer pay-per-click advertising(this is according to Ulyses), but instead they just sell you a top-position link which is guaranteed to come up when someone searches for the specific key-words that you picked out. And you own this position forever. Any time someone in the world searches leapfish.com for your keywords, BOOM!, there is your link. Eternal advertising. If I recall correctly, he said it was $5.00 per year to renew but we covered a lot of information.

This removes the need to spend the time to figure out your pay-per-click budget for each week or month. You are stuck with those keywords however, forever. Oooh. How about if you bought a phrase like “MLM leads”, or if you are in a large MLM orgainztion like Usana or Amway or iLearning Global. You could buy the keyword “Anway”. Phew! I sure don’t know whether that one is still available but WOW, that would have some value huh?

I don’t recall what The guy said was the number of searches “MLM Leads” gets every month but it was unbelievable. Price he quoted me was about $2100 .00. Geez, I know people who spend way more than that doing pay-per-click every single week!

Pay per click has become kind of an industry standard for generating leads. Most of the big dogs in MLM have a sizeable pay per click budget and it is a exceptional way to create network marketing leads.

As an internet marketer I would think that $2100.00 for a permanent top position (you would actually rotate amount three positions at the top) would be a no-brainer for getting MLM leads..

As a surfer I just think it’s cool and I like the engine better. (Sorry Google, sorry Yahoo…).
