This very thing happens a lot and to all different types of people. You may be one that lost a loved one from death or from a marriage gone wrong. Whatever the reason doing the dating thing is something no one really wants to deal with. You might think you are to old, to heavy or to picky. You might step into this for all the wrong reasons like afraid of being alone. You might have been one never to have been on your own. This fear is usually found in woman.

It seems that you woman have more issues. Like the way you look including your hair, face, the clothes you wear and with some even your shoes. Men do not usually care about these things. They are more there for what they can get and how often. This is when the relationships with friends really kick in. They might try to set you up with someone they know. This can be good or bad. You might find that this person they set you up with is someone you know. You might find that you know them all to well and cannot really stand this person. If this date has set up by a really close friend of yours you will end up on this date because you do not want to hurt your friends feelings.

If you find out that these feelings are true go to your friend and apologize first and tell them that you will not go on this date. If they ask you why tell them. Dating is a way to meet new people. A way to get out and have fun. Dating is a way to find your soul mate. If you happen to have lost your soul mate finding this other might be hard. Start out slow. Either start going with your friends like a night with the girls if you are a girl or hanging out with the guys if you are a guy. Doing this might help to break the ice when meeting someone new.

If you happen to be uncomfortable going by yourself the first time out taking this someone with you will make it so much easier. You might actually find that you are enjoying yourself even finding someone that you enjoy spending time with. Get to know this person better before jumping the gun. Always go slow on this first date as you might not find out everything about them at this time. If you happen to really like this person should something show up later you could get hurt. This is one thing that you do not plan to happen on any date.
