It needs to be moist but not wet. Once you cleaned the floor with it, use another, dry cloth (must be soft) to dry it out and bring out the shine and luster in the floor.

Vinyl floors need a good sweep first. Then you can safely use warm water with soap or detergent in it to scrub it. This is usually easier to clean and maintain than wood flooring, so you can do the job much faster. If you have dirt on the floors, leave the detergent water to soak in and remove the deep rooting dirt from it.

If you have clothes that you haven't worn in at least a year, you won't be using them in the future either, so give them away to charity or Red Cross or your neighbor who is struggling to make it every day. Don't get attached to your clothes. They are just things you use to wear. You can always get new and better clothes.

If your kitchen countertop is laminated, you can use a dishwashing liquid for easy cleaning. Make sure to rinse it afterwards to get rid of the soap.

When you have stainless steel surfaces in your kitchen, they are easily removed with a soft cloth with white vinegar. After that just simply wipe them off to remove any spots or marks left.

Heel marks can easily be removed with a pencil eraser. Forget about trying to clean those with anything harder. The less effort you put in cleaning, the better for you.

For carpet cleaning, there are various ways to do it. You can bring your carpet to the dry cleaner, or you can do it all by yourself. A professional carpet cleaner will help you extend your carpet's life. If you have a good vapor cleaner, it will not only clean your carpets but you can also use it to clean garments, curtains and other surfaces. That is a real time saver right there.
