Fantastic NBA Gambling Odds Series Finds Suns Even against Lakers 2-2

A best of three series is now the most interesting NBA betting odds series in the basketball betting. After getting crushed in Game 1 and Game 2 blowouts in Los Angeles, the Phoenix Suns are now unstoppable, winning Game 3 and most recently Game 4- in the Valley of the Sun.

On Tuesday the Suns proved to the NBA betting world that this team is no joke by handing the defending NBA betting odds champion Lakers yet another beat down in a well played 115-105 victory.

Unlike Game 3 when the Suns were amazing, Steve Nash was passing out assists like nobody's business and Amare Stoudemire scorched the Lakers' D for 43 points, in Game 4 Nash was held to just eight assists and the big guy scored only 21 points.

If you were to tell those statisics to any self-respecting NBA betting buff (eight assists from Nash, 21 points from Stoudemire) -including the fact that only three Suns starters scored in double digits during this NBA odds contest (Jason Richardson 11 points, Nash 15 points, Stoudemire 21 points), and the throw in the fact that Kobe lit the Suns defense up for 38 points- there is no way that you foresee this NBA playoff betting matchup to result in a Suns victory.

Yet that's precisely the sports betting outcome that resulted.

One quick glance at the box score reveals the difference in this NBA betting matchup: bench scoring.

Phoenix's bench boomed against a Los Angeles team that seemed mixed up on defense scoring a total of 54 points phenomenal considering the starters combined to score just 61 points. Channing Frye was marvelous from beyond the arc going 4-8 on his 3-point attempts (14 points) and Leonardo Barbosa added in 14 points and Jared Dudley 11 more.

It says quite a lot about this team that the Suns could notch an NBA betting win without a monster game from either Nash or Stoudemire.

With the Suns 3-point expertise (.367 in Game 4) it can more than compensate for an off game by its stars and that's something the Lakers learned the hard way last night.
