If you have a passion for golf, you can have a whole day of mini golfing fun at the Palma Nova Golf Fantasia resort. With a choice of three different circuits to play, all of them set against a backdrop of dramatic waterfalls, tropical gardens and caves, all the family will enjoy this popular mini golf course.

If you have teenage children holidaying with you, then a day out go-karting at Karting Magalluf will keep them entertained. Its location next door to a water park means tat you can leave them to enjoy themselves while you take your younger children to enjoy the water slides and swimming pools just across the road.

Pony trekking is a popular pastime in Mallorca and your little ones can enjoy a days trekking, or take a horse riding course specially designed for children at the Calvia Pony Club at Son Punta.

There are several marine wildlife centres in Mallorca, but perhaps the best known is Marineland at Portals Nous. You will find a large collection of marine life including sharks and exotic fish, as well as a penguin pool, reptile area and daily shows featuring dolphins, sealions and parrots. Children can also enjoy rides on a miniature pirate ship, and profits made at Marineland are reinvested into marine wildlife conservation projects.

You can catch some of the most exciting wildlife in the world at the Cala Millor Auto Safari Park. Sit back and enjoy the drive as your children excitedly point out the passing monkeys, giraffes, elephants and zebras. The park is open all year round from 9am.

A day out at one of the water parks in Mallorca is not only great fun, it is a great way to cool down in the heat of the summer months. Children of all ages will love the water castle feature at the Aquapark at Magalluf, as well as the swimming pools and endless flumes and water slides.

Aqualandia at Binissalem is a water park with a difference. As well as everything you would expect from a top water park, from slides and swimming pools, you will also find an adventure playground suitable for children of all ages, a crazy golf course and a waxwork museum too.

You should have no trouble getting to the main waterparks, theme parks, zoos and mini golf courses using the bus services in Mallorca. But if you do not want to be bound by the public transport timetables, then car hire in Mallorca may be the option for you. Having your own car to explore the island with is by far the easiest method of transport for families on holiday here.
