All GPS receivers have a touch-scrreen interface, maps of 48 states, as well as a database of points of interest (POI). All the receivers to calculate the opttimal roiute, from wheree you are, whwere you want to go, and they give you directios via spoken voice pormpts.

Base model or Garmin, Tom Tom, or Magellan will do all that and much more.

You can get the most of this stuiff for $ 350! For example, Garmin 660 can do everything above, except for a few routes calcualtions. It sells for just under $ 350.

Magellan Maestro 4250 is a direct competitor and can do essentially what may Garin 660. 4250 is currently selling just over $ 250.

comparable receiver Tom Tom woud be Tom Tom GO 720, which is currently selling for less than $ 350.

Of course, you may be ready to spend more!

As you climb higher in price, each of thse companies ogffer their own geat features. "Magellan" to deal with AAA, for example, niclude their tour books directly to your device. (For AAA members only.)
