The world is not falling off its orbit because there are jobs. Yes, there is a large cry about unemployment but on the other hand, there are employed people who are managing to square up a decent life and contribute towards the country’s cause. Unemployment mars the company’s cause in two ways.

It means higher employment benefits and food stamps from the government exchequer and it also means less tax for the government. Thankfully, congress is looking to propose fresh plans which will speed up the employment initiative. With the recession hitting the employed men under the belt and rapid downsizing becoming a norm, job recruitment sites and employment classifieds are having a field day.

Let’s elaborate on employment classifieds a little. There are host of job-seekers today who are looking for suitable jobs. At the same time, there are hundreds of corporate bigwigs or bosses of small-size and mid-size firms who are looking out for workers. Surely, there is no fairy that would come to connect these two kinds of men. There has to be an online forum or simply a site which lets them track the other. This then is the precept and this then is the utility of employment classifieds.

An employment classified lets a job seeker post his resume. Each site has tabs and links following which you can successfully post your resume. To do this, you have to visit the employment classifieds site and get yourself registered. Once you do this, your resume will be placed ahead of millions of job posters who would know of your credentials and related need in their companies. For instance, a chartered accountancy firm needs CA’s. If you are a CA and you have posted your resume on a reputed employment classifieds site, then you have just become visible to all those firms who may require your expertise.

This is why employment classifieds are a handsome way to provide many job seekers their dream job or something close to it. The job posters themselves fetch you or do it through head hunter agencies (who sift these resumes) and take a telephonic call on you. Once they’re satisfied, they call you for an interview and the rest as they say can be history.

Similarly, the job posters can gain handsomely through these sites. They just need to become site members and place their ‘member scrolls’ while posting a job. Ideally an employment classifieds site asks its job posters to post the vacancies in a detailed manner. There must be few specifications like the designation they are recruiting, the experience required, working shifts, transfers related requirements, salary structure, (negotiable or non-negotiable), transport facilities and so on. This way, a recruit might judge if a job suits him or not, right at the outset.
