I never understood why clocks were called clocks until they use them to put around your wrists and then they call the a watch. There are two different kinds of watches you can get, a digital one and one that has a minute and an hour hand.

There are also clocks that are huge and have a swinging pendulum and this is called a grandfather clock. They put clocks on everything it seems to me. You can find a clock on a backpack, in a car, on your televisions, on a necklace and can you believe they make digital clocks that you can put on your shoes. That would be hard to see if your a tall person.

Wall clocks come in many different shapes and sizes and they are sold by many different companies. You can get a mirror wall clock, a wall clock made out of your favorite picture and you can get a wall clock that is made out of many different animals. You can get clocks that make different noises for every hour. And you can even buy clocks that come in so many different colors.

There are clocks that are in the shape of cats, dogs, horses, cows, pigs and even some that are in the shapes of mythical creatures like dragons. You can get a clock that is in the shape of a triangle, a heart or just a plain one like a circle. You can get some that are huge and in the shapes of guitars and some that are for children's rooms and crayons and special characters like superheroes and princesses.

It does not matter where you get your clock as long as it is good quality and worth the price you pay for it. There are a lot of people who like to collect clocks and have a lot of them wall to wall in their homes or apartments. Some people like to collect grandfather clocks, and these are usually big, but I think most of them are beautiful.

There are wall clocks that have pendulums and they swing back and forth. Sometimes these can be mesmerizing to some people. Clocks are made out of different things and different materials. Sometimes you can find metal or aluminum clocks, most clocks are made out of plastic and these are the really cheap ones that most people get and put on their walls.

Some people even get clocks to put in their bathroom, in their hallway and most people have clocks in their kitchen. It is good to have a clock because this will keep you from being late for certain appointments and possibly loosing your job due to being late for work. Something weird about clocks is that every year where I live I have to turn my clock back and turn it forward. This is done each time once a year because of the time zone I suppose.

Some people do not have to turn their clock back or forward and I think these are the lucky people because they will never be late or early for anything if they go by what their clocks time is. If you get any kind of wall clocks you should probably match it with the room or place that you are putting it in. However, this is your choice and you do not have to if you want to you can have whatever color you like as long as its up to you.
