We all get there at times - too exhausted to want to think about exercising. But you know you still need to. What do you do? Is is just lack of incentive or is it a bodily problem. Here are a few ideas to assist in both areas.

Get your iron levels checked

If you already do exercises and find your are approaching your daily exercises with excessive fatigue and lack of inspiration, see your general practitioner and have your iron level examined. Your medical doctor can do a blood analysis refered to as a ferreting level which measures your body’s stores of iron. Aerobic training can cause gradual lessening of iron levels with iron being lost by way of sweating and because of leakage of small amounts into the gut with prolonged movements. Plus, it is not uncommon for women of child bearing age to be iron deficient. If you’re iron deficient, iron supplements can make all the difference in the enregy you have and your attitude towards exercise.

Exercise when you wake up in the morning

If you feel worn-out and less motivated to train in the evening, try getting up thirty minutes earlier and get your work out session done before the day starts. An early morning work out session can help to rejuvenate and motivate you for the balance of the day. And also, you can look forward to an evening of relaxation knowing you’ve completed your objective. This can be a simple answer to the dilemma of being too exhausted to work out.

Do it anyway

Sometimes the best treatment for tiredness is a vigorous exercise session. Have you ever noticed how you can stagger into the health club dog-tired but following 30 minutes of activity you feel keyed up and refreshed? There’s not anything like training to get your blood flowing and zap low energy. If it’s hard for you to get motivated to make that trip to the club, promise yourself a small gift after you complete your session. Just make sure it isn't a piece of chocolate!

Lessen your workout

On evenings that your are too tired to exercise, follow a lighter, less difficult schedule. To induce yourself to make the first step, tell yourself you will only work out for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes have passed, odds are you will feel so invigorated that you’ll want to continue.

Vary your exercise system

If you feel fatigued with a lack of enthusiasm towards training on a specific day, modify your exercises completely and alternate something fun. Instead of walking a half hour on the treadmill at the club, take your dog for a brisk walk or do 30 minutes of stretches while you watch your favorite T.V. show. You can switch back to your regular schedule the next time you train and the diversity will be helpful for you both bodily and mentally.

Give these instructions a try and soon you will no longer need the old justification of being too drained to exercise. Plus, you’ll look and feel like a new person.
