Estee lauder war born on 1st July 1908 in New York, USA. Lauder was the only woman on TIME magazine's 1998 list of the 20 most influential business geniuses of the 20th century. She was inducted into the Junior Achievement U.S. Business Hall of Fame in 1988. Estee has attraction towards beauty products right from her childhood and so she started her career selling skin creams manufactured by her uncle. After her marriage, with the help of her husband, she launched her own company known as Estee Lauder Company in 1935.

In 1953 Lauder introduced her first fragrance, YOUTH DEW, bath oil that doubled as a perfume. Instead of using their French perfumes by the drop behind each ear, women were using Youth Dew by the bottle in their bath water. In the first year Youth Dew sold fifty thousand, by 1984, the figure had jumped to one hundred and fifty million. Lauder was a subject of a 1985 TV documentary called Estee Lauder: The Sweet Smell of Success.

The earliest editions of Estee Lauder perfumes originate from 1953 and the newest ones from 2010. Youth-Dew by Estee Lauder is an oriental spicy fragrance for women. Youth-Dew was introduced in 1953. The nose behind this fragrance is Josephine Catapano. Top notes of this perfume are aldehydes, orange, spices, peach and bergamot; middle notes are cinnamon, cassia, orchid, jasmine, cloves, ylang-ylang and rose while base notes are tolu balsam, peru balsam, amber, patchouli, musk, vanilla, oakmoss, vetiver and incense.

Youth dew Amber Nude perfume for women is an attention seeker and fascinating perfume. It is an oriental vanilla fragrance for women. Top notes are magnolia, ginger, cinnamon, tea and grapefruit; middle notes are carnation, jasmine, ylang-ylang and black rose; base notes are sandalwood, amber, patchouli and vetiver.

Estee perfume is the second perfume in the perfume base from Estee Lauder Company. Notes of jasmine, rose and ylang-ylang make it classically feminine and sweetly floral. The scent is slightly spicy and floral warm. It is recommended for daily use and warmer weather.
Another perfume, Azuree Pure, was introduced after enjoyed beauty of the Mediterranean and it inspired her to create this perfume. The perfume is made of basil, jasmine, citrus, vetiver, rose, patchouli, moss and amber.

There was also another line called private Collection for women. It has flowery aroma with green notes. The fresh floral opening blend green notes, honeysuckle, linden, jasmin and orange blossom. The heart note is composed of Bulgarian rose, chrysanthemum, reseda, ylang-ylang and coriander. The end note includes sandalwood, heliotrope, amber and musk. The fragrance is elegant and strapping yet delicate.
