During foggy conditions, when visibility is impaired, a vehicle needs lights that can penetrate the fog to improve visibility. Fog lights made of LED are very effective as they are designed to reduce the glare from falling fog or snow.
The safety performance benefit of LED lights is also extended to rear brake lights. When pressure from the brake-pedal is applied, LED light illuminates two-tenths of a second faster than an incandescent light. The fast response time of LED lights gives drivers of vehicles more time to react to brake lights.
As always, LED light also don’t need to be replaced as often as globes. In automobiles they can lasts for 100,000 hours of use!

LED lights are fast becoming the lighting solution of choice in the automobile industry for all of these reasons and because they are clear, bright and glare free, ideal for all road conditions.
