This is a 2009 comedy film that has been directed by Peter Billingsley. The movie has been written by Vince Vaughn, Dana Fox and Jon Favreau. The movie has been shot in Bora Bora Island, which is in Leeward Group of the Society Islands of French Polynesia. The music of this film is by A. R. Rehman, who recently won this year’s Grammy Award, the highly prestigious award in the worldwide musical industry. In this movie Vince Vaughn played the character of a video game dealer named Dave. The role of his Ronnie has been played by Malin Akerman. The couple got two kids and along with that they got numerous stresses in their lives. In this movie you will also get to see two other couples named Joey and Lucy. The role of Joey has been played by Jon Favreau and Kristen Davis portrayed the character of Lucy. They too are leading a stressful life and it is mainly due to their teenage daughter who is highly rebellious.

Another unhappy couple in this movie is Jason and Cynthia since they don’t have any children. Jason Bateman is the one that has performed the character of Jason and Kristen Bell played the role of his wife Cynthia. So here you can see that all he couples in this movie are highly depressed with their lives. One day Dave invited some of his friends at his son’s birthday party. There Cynthia and Dave called a side meeting and by using a PowerPoint presentation they have showcased their highly troubled marriage life. Because of this they have decided to go for divorce.

In a desperate attempt to save their marriage, the couples have decided to go to “Eden,” which is a couple therapy resorts. They try to obtain various information about the resort and after going through various package information they have decide to go for the "Pelican Package". Now they are ready to go to the Resort, where they are about to experience fun and excitement.

The main location of this film is St. Regis Bora Bora Resort, which is a well known resort in the Bora Bora Island. Some part of this film is shot in Universal Studios and also in O'Hare International Airport. The duration of this film is 113 minutes and has been made on a budget of US$ 80 million.
