Sometimes everyone gets in a slump and needs a little Internet marketing coaching. But, trying to get familiar with your coach before you pay for coaching is something you'd like to do. However, plunking down a big chuck of change before you even know who your Internet marketing coach is, well, that is quite another thing.

BODY
Have you ever been contacted by one of the big guru's business to see if you desire Internet marketing coaching? Some of the major names employ a training organization and assign their name to the coaching to make it appear like a great opportunity to move ahead in your Internet marketing line of business.

If you have ever been contacted, you probability listened to a great pitch for their services. After all, you aren't doing as well as the guru, are you? I should say not. The pitch man confirms that you should be earning a lot more money than you're making now.

OK, so just how much are they going to charge you for coaching?

Well, when I was contacted the pitch told me I'd have to invest $5000 before they could take me on. It was really an investment in my future. Not only that, but, I could put it on a credit card and over time pay only around $130 a month. So, actually, it would only cost $130 a month for the coaching services the guru had contracted with.

The reason for up front costs is because, he assured me, there are lots of overhead costs. Yes, and the pitch man is the primary overhead that will capture a good hunk of that up front cost.

Here are a couple of questions I bounced off the pitch man. See if they resonate with you.

For starters I said this: You've likely gone into a restaurant that was new to you and ordered something to eat. Have you ever been asked to pay for an whole year's worth of meals before they even delivered the salad? Of course not. Such a thing be preposterous. You want to taste your first meal, appraise the atmosphere, pay your bill, and then make a decision about going to that restaurant again.

In the same way, you should have the ability to appraise your coach's skill. You first decide if the coach honestly can help you. If he can, then you can choose to go on paying for additional coaching. Isn't that reasonable?

Here's a second idea: Would you pay $50000 for a "HoDo" car that you have never seen or even heard of? But, what a deal. This beauty has got wheels, a rear view mirror, head and tail lights, a sturdy leather covered steering wheel, see through safety glass all around the car. This baby is packed with bucket seats in front. And, for your safety it's got breaks and a horn. What a deal?

Well, would you plunk down $50000 for such an automobile, sight unseen? Not if you are sane.

So, is it rational for the pitch man to expect me to hand over $5000 for a coach I have never heard of? That would be pretty harebrained, don't you think?

Well, it's almost unnecessary to say, our little chat wasn't making much progress. So, in the course of the next minute or two I terminated the call.

Accordingly, the next time you are contacted by a pitch man for coaching with an enormous up front cost, just ask him a couple of questions.
