Advertising churches may not always want to do outreach but why not? Money, energy, and time have to be put into it. Many churches do not even bother with advertising. If your church doesn't do some kind of advertising I can not tell you how hard it will be to grow it. Church outreach and advertisements are needed for that purpose alone!

Church growth isn't the only thing we should be thinking about. Try to understand why we come together to begin with. Have you ever been caught up in something and didn't know why you started it in the first place? This would be a great time to remember what it is all about. We are the light of the world bringing hope to the lost souls of men!

From the beginning of the gospel we are asked by God to spread the word. When you run an ad for your church that is what we call advertisement and spreading the word. Anytime you shout from the mountain top you are advertising. We should never hide our message... we should send it into the world. Our word should be heard clearer than any other advertisements in the world. We must speak louder than anyone else on the television or online.

The church is meant to reach out to the lost. Do not ever forget that when the churches start to advertise. It will keep you moving. It helps to be passionate about what you speak out about you know.

Your voice must be heard by the lost. Who are these lost people? Many that we love are the same groups of people we must reach out to. Our message must go all over the world for God. As the bible said "How will they hear without a preacher?" Get this message out to every person you come across in every way.

Not taking action today and waiting till tomorrow may means someone's life! Now you know how important your church advertising is. Today is the day we must preach this good news. Advertising your churches should start now! Your church can not wait until a "better" time.

I think your asking what you should do right now. You should be thinking about that very thing. It all takes into consideration who you are talking to. Remember we have a wide group of people to effect. We should not expect one advertisement to reach everyone. It only means our ads must be focused on each group. Upon getting through to one type of person we should change direction. Buckle up because we have a lot of advertising to do!

Lets get to thinking about this. What kind of groups of people are at your church? Don't think you can not put them in groups. It really isn't hard. All you do is see who gathers into little groups. All churches get into little groups. Churches simply get into little sub groups like that. It is human nature.

Now think of what group is the largest. Now that you are looking at this churches group are they younger or older? Do they like things in a traditional way or a more up to date way? All you are doing is asking yourself who is already in your church.

If you want the atmosphere of your church to change then please don't advertise to this group first! However if you think your church is great like this you must focus on getting more people of like minds in! I will assume you are focusing on the group you are happy with. Now lets say you are in a nice quiet country church with farms all around. Do you think a low rider car show is going to get much interest?

I bet you never thought of this but you just need to talk to those members of your church. What outreach program would have drawn them to your church in the first place? If they have any life outside of church you may need to find out what they like. These ideas will get you started with your churches advertising.

Now that you know what your advertising program is about it is time to think of how to get the word out. Farmer John doesn't get online that much these days. They may visit the local farmers market a lot though! A few signs and flyers around that area should do the trick. Don't spare anything now!

I hope that outreach program you are thinking about for your area will be great. It should be. After it is over you won't have time to relish in how good it was though. It is time to start thinking of the next outreach. Forgetting any type of people in your church would be a mistake! You need them all!
