Gathering crucial and accurate data for the purpose of analyzing is the idea behind it. Assessment of present status is done by KPI’s i.e. Key Performance Indicators. Companies try to gather relevant data more on timely basis so that strategies can be adjusted more frequently which ultimately leads to satisfaction amongst customers, thereby, better customer retention and creation.

Business intelligence utilizes various tools because a large volume of data is collected, organized and analyzed. Some of the available tools are data warehousing, modeling and mining. These tools are collectively used so as to improve the effectiveness of BI.

The fact here is that more a business understands its market ranging from customers to competitors, it steps towards gaining super success.
