Hello, my name is Chris and I would like to tell you a little bit about my background. I have been a webmaster on an off for about 12 years. Over these years I have bought a lot of programs on search engine optimization. I'm here today to tell you how much these programs have benefited me. They haven't, all the money that I have spent has been in vain. Every program told me how to do search engine optimization but with no results. So I decided to use my own brain and figure this out for myself.
Well first of all, it didn't cost me any money and I did figure out what the real deal was and put it to good use. Now I'm sure that a lot of people are not going to agree with me but I don't care because I have done what I am about to tell you and it works just fine. First of all, you must think of the Internet as a big circle. And where you want to get to is directly in the middle. This is where the Internet end of the rainbow is. All of your dreams and financial independence will come to you once you start getting to the center of this circle. Now you ask, how do I get there?

Well first of all, you must make sure that your website is optimized correctly. Most web sites are not optimized correctly at all. First you must make sure that you have a good title that describes your website, 64 characters only. Second you must make your main keywords. 150-200 characters maximum, and make these out of phrases of keywords that have a high ranking. Third you are going to bring your title down to the description tag and use it as part of your description. You want to make this between 150-200 characters maximum. Make sure that your description tag sales your website. Add your keywords phrases in this description title but make sure that it is informative and do not worry so much about getting your keywords into the description. This is where every one screws up.

The search engines are looking for descriptive titles and descriptions, always keep this in mind. This information that I had just given you is all in your meta tag descriptions. This is your HTML tags. These are invisible tags on your website. But this is what shows up in your search engine results. Now let's go to the top of your website. This is considered the body of your page from the top and the first or second paragraph. You must make sure that your website indicates that this is a body tag in title. There are three of them and they should describe your website and content as well. If your website program does not allow this then you must get a new program or make do with poor ranking. There are plenty of them out there that are very good and under $100. Get your website building program is older than 2008, you may need to invest in a new website building program. Make sure that the program has heading titles built into it for search engine optimization. Now that you have your website built correctly you can start to optimize your website.

You may not get it right the first time but don't worry about it. Make sure that its clean and informative and that you have the Meta tags placed correctly. Submit your URL or video to the sites. Check your Meta tag title phrase to see if you got on the Internet with any type of ranking.

Now getting back to that circle. You must create a presence on the Internet and expand from their. Once you have got a top 20 ranking for your key word phrase keep expanding from that. That ranking will come from your Meta tag title. Keep changing your Meta tag title on each submission. This title is in your website but not visible, it is in the HTML. You do not have to change the wording on your website but it would only make it better if you did.

This is where most people get lost. If you can't figure this out this is when you need to hire someone to optimize and submit your website for you. I look at hundreds of web sites a day and see that the Meta tags are never correct. And every one wonders why they can't get any form of ranking. Now when you research your keywords and go for the highest key word rank, this is what your problem is. Do what I said above and get a top 20 listings and then build from there. You will need to also add your site to social Bookmarking sites, article sites, RSS feeds, and develop good quality links to your site. Be careful about these links, do not pay for links, I'll say this one more time, do not pay for links. You need to add an article once or twice a month to develop good links and you can add to directory sites as well. This is all for now,watch for my next article.
