By that time the shape of cruiser bike were also developed and had many extra features, including springer fork suspension, motorcycle-stylishness horn tanks, extensive chrome plating, fringed saddlebags even capgun holsters. Many companies such as Roadmaster, Columbia, Shelby, Monark, had joined the hype and released several models of cruiser bike. Unluckily, the popularity of cruiser bike was decreased during the end of 1950's.

Beach cruiser bike sales have continued to rise. It indicates that the stylish bike like the cruiser bike gains more and more fans. The interest has developed into a modification that brings new model of modern cruiser this time. By lowering the suspension of the beach cruiser bike, it has begun the era of a custom cruiser bike called Lowrider. Lowrider bicycles use cruiser frame with lowered saddle and low springer forks.

Today the interest to collect old bike emerges. Those with interest in cycling and history begin to seek old bike and the value of cruiser bike rises up gradually. Like other forms of collecting, bike collectors compete to get the rarer items. Many have extensive holdings in bicycle parts in a way to complete bicycles. Beach cruiser bicycle is one of the 50’s icons. It represents the spirit of freedom and style as well as low budget transportation that once became a King in its era.
