Some would consider it strange, that in an age when so many people are better educated, they do not maintain their bodies as well as they deserve. Absurdly, the body is regularly abused by the intentional, or unavoidable, intake of toxins, to the degree that it compels you to doubt whether you have received appropriate advice. Natural health therapies exist for many illnesses, that are purported to help the body, to reinforce and extend its own restorative qualities.

You may have heard it said that you are what you eat, but there is not anybody who would want to wake up looking like a greasy hamburger or sausage! The analogy holds true because fresh fruit and vegetables are substantially superior in your quest for natural health. Recall the smell of fresh fruit, such as a newly peeled orange, or fresh bowl of pineapple chunks. Look at the texture and color of this kind of food, and contrast it with the look of over-heated oil. Follow the advice to consume between 5 - 9 fruits and vegetables per day, and try to err towards the top of the range.

Our very existence needs a certain amount of energy, and in this respect food is our fuel. As we would not fill our cars fuel tanks with sand, we should not fill ourselves with greasy food. In the same way, its not much good having the required grade of gas if you don't have the engine tuned, which is similar to how exercise comes in, to maintain our natural health. So many ways are available to burn energy effectively, and enjoyably; swimming, walking, and golfing, amongst many others. Clearly some of your calories are used up at work, but in the interests of your natural health select something pleasurable when you have time on your hands.
