Baby boomers don't just want to live longer, they want it all - better looks, longer life and improved health. Watching elderly friends and family suffer or living from doctor appointment to doctor appointment just doesn't interest them. Growing older is fine, we just don't want to look and feel "old". We have advancements in medicine and technology which are great contributors to these changes in life expectancy. This longer lifespan is great but we want a high QUALITY of life as well.
