I have been attempting to convince my sister for months to provide up the antenna on her roof and change over to satellite. She isn't hurting for money and cable tv would truly assist her fill up her time while she is at house taking care of her mom.
She does observe TV but she watches the same channel all day lengthy. I maintain informing her of all of the cool things about HDTVs and how she could very easily change out her aged antenna and change it with a newer antenna, which would give her greater quality pictures, but she won't make the change.

The Discovery Channel makes you feel like you have transported yourself from the small municipality you live in to just anywhere in the world. I love this tv and I just wish my family would understand.
I do not know, I guess one of these days someone in the family will get in touch with the present and purchase themselves a nice HDTV. Until then they will just continue to observe their small 19" dull color and snowy picture one.
