All they have to do is to file a spouse visa and they will be able to move in with their partner once it is approved. The spouse visa actually extends to those who are in a relationship but are yet to be married. However, you should take note that, in this case, the embassy will be a bit harder on you than on married couples. Here, you need to prove that your relationship is indeed genuine and that you really do have plans to get married.
On the other hand, those who do not have relatives there will still have plenty of chances to enter the country. One of the easiest route is by entering as a student. Once you have completed your studies, then you will be eligible to apply for permanent residency. However, you better be prepared, as the foreign student program was also affected by the recent changes that were made in the skilled migrant program. Now, you won't be able to receive your working visa unless you are able to secure a job first. And you will only be given 18 months in order to find one, else you will be forced to exit the country.

Employer sponsorship is another way that you can go to Australia. And with the number of companies moving into the country yearly, this will also be a likely candidate to take you to the country. One good thing about this is that many companies now also offer to petition an employee's entire family, which makes migration much easier.

And for the older ones who want to experience their retirement years in Australia, the retiree visa is now also available. However, do take note that this is not a permanent visa, as you have to renew this every year. But this would still be a good way to enter Australia.
