Maintenance for air conditioning systems in Florida should be performed twice as frequently as air conditioning systems in other parts of the country. This is due to the extreme amount of use that these systems endure year round. Unlike A/C systems in other parts of the country in which the air conditioning is only in use for three to four months out of the year, systems are used in Florida an average of eight to eleven months out of the year. This increased usage increases the amount of wear and tear.
