There is so much misinformation going around the Internet these days that it's a wonder that anybody gets anything straight anymore. There are some misconceptions going around about Microsoft Certification Training that I feel need to be cleared up. This article is going to do just that. Hopefully, after you're done reading, you'll know what you're up against.

Misconception number 1 Microsoft Certification Training does NOT guarantee that you'll pass the exam¦whichever one it is that you're attempting to take. A lot of less than reputable companies are making all kinds of promises that make it sound like they are guaranteeing that you'll pass the exam if you take THEIR course. That is until you read the fine print of the contract you've signed. So, which ever training course you are investigating, always make sure that you understand everything that is being offered. Okay, got it? Taking any form of training does NOT guarantee you anything.

Misconception number 2 The training that you receive is specifically geared towards the exam that you're taking, meaning that the practice tests you'll be given are exactly like the ones you'll be taking. This is a fallacy. Yes, the practice tests ARE similar. However, they are not going to be the same as the actual exam you will take. They will only give you some idea of what the exam is going to be like. They just may be (if you're lucky!) exam papers from previous years which will help a lot. But even then, you will still have to sit the actual exam - and pass!

Misconception number 3 All Microsoft Certification Training Programs are the same. This may be the biggest lie of all. Many will claim to be Microsoft Certified, and they may very well be, but that doesn't in any way guarantee that the training that you're going to get is going to be sufficient enough to get you through the actual exam that you're going to be taking. Some certified programs are pure trash.

You need to understand that this is a big business and it makes Microsoft a lot of money each year. They don't just hand these certifications out to anyone. You have to earn them. And not every training program is going to help you do that. There are however, a number of great Microsoft Certificatin Training programs that are ethical in their dealings with clients and continue to provide excellent training and advice to their students.

In my signature is a review of one of these that I think you will find will more than adequately prepare you to become a Microsoft Certified Professional.
