I was perusing many articles on September 11th and the rescue worker help programs. While looking around, I came across Ron Pollack, a highly accomplished man. After reading some articles on him I felt the need to write about him and his accomplishments.
Rob was a gifted child who excelled in computers and math. He grew up in Detroit MI and after high school attended Yale before joining his families real estate business. He then went back to Harvard to satisfy his dream of becoming an architect. He ended up majoring in business and law and decided to go in to finances. He went to Wall St to become a investment banker and was soon a hedge fund manager. He invested in many public and private companies after getting tips from his Grandpa Max. Max had always told him to invest in Boeing. Throughout his career he would invest in technology in honor of his Grandpa's advice. There were ups and downs following the tech bust. Many of his short sell investments worked out well and he had a good career before going back to his roots in real estate.
Now he appears to be experimenting with a combination of the two. Right now, he is investing and overseeing the development of some newer upscale condominiums in Clearwater, Fla. For a man who is highly educated and experienced, he is also quite humble and humane. One perfect example from his many experiences with charitable organizations is his compassionate work for New York rescue workers after 9/11. This event touched all of our lives in some way and made us feel a bit uncertain about our country's safety. But people like Ron were able to help us recognize that we can work together to overcome all obstacles. These stories involving the rescue workers were touching, for many of them suffered from the â€œ9/11 coughâ€. As most people who suffering from a long illness know, the cough prevented the workers from returning to their regular jobs, breathing normally and even being able to sleep for an entire night. It's hard to imagine being plagued by this condition after having to deal with the horrible experience of searching for victims of the 9/11 catastrophe. The illness also caused a great deal of uncertainty and the fear of long-term side affects created from working in the debris every day. Ron Pollack's foundation helped bring cures and aid to these heroes who needed help desperately.

Ron Pollack continues to give his time to various foundations and charities. He's a really well rounded guy, while being passionate about his work and other's well being. Ron is dedicated to his family and those around him, with the background and the know how to see his company (and others) to new heights and thrive in the world marketplace.
