The last thing you need is to take on a plasterer with no transportation other than public transport or a van which is likely to breakdown outside your house.

Does the plastering company you are dealing with have to cover the cost of any damage to your property? Make sure you see some form of insurance which is up-to-date. Never let the company start work without it.

Does the company offer free quotations? Nearly all plastering companies will offer a free quotation but do not ask for one unless you are really considering getting the work done in the near future.
