Consider letting go of the guilt and frustration of doing chores and consider doing them when you feel like it rather than 'when they're supposed to be done'. It can help you feel less lazy about organizing your home. You will probably have greater satisfaction towards organizing your home which will make you more capable to organize the home much better than before.

This creates an upwards spiral rather than the guilt and lazy downward spiral of 'I should tidy up'. Then you'll easily organize home... and even organize closets too.
