It's the first time Google has brokered ads by way of a television network.

Another option is to offer a local weekend or one-day workshop. You can do it through your local community enrichment program. Alternately, you can go through an organization such as the AAUW, Humane Society, a civic organization or you can even offer the workshop at your community college!

This may not sound as powerful as appearing in your local television ad, but offering a workshop within your community can be a long term solution driving traffic to your website. It is a strategy that every online business person should use.

You already know how to draw up a strong proposal. Make the effort to find out the appropriate contacts and schedule appointments to speak to them. A great way to make contacts is by joining your local Toastmaster or business group.

It will certainly take some work. You might not have an instant client base from your class or group. But you will learn a lot as you spread your name within the community. You might also get some great ideas that will help to build up your online business.

Another great way to increase website traffic is by sending out press releases using offline sources (such as local newspapers and trade magazines) as well as to online paid and free PR services ( PRWeb), for example.

The more work and enthusiasm that you put into this and the more, the greater the benefits will be for you. So stay positive, become proactive, make the most of every online and offline opportunity as you watch your credibility and business reputation grow stronger.
