The 2010 Belmont Stakes wagering field has finally been set, putting to rest the mystery, the suspense, and the anxious expectation.

On Saturday June 5th, 2010 the 142nd edition of the Belmont Stakes odds competition will get started and now horseracing odds lovers know not only what horses will be featured in the Belmont Stakes wagering competition but they're also know which lanes the horses will be racing out of. So without any further ado, here is the 2010 Belmont Stakes odds post positions:

Running out of Lane 1 and attemptingto keep from receiving pinched on the inside rail long shot Dave in Dixie will try and make history, and a pile of cash for fortuitous sports wagering lovers, by winning the last of the 2010 Triple Crown wagering competitions.

In Lane 2 Spangled Banner, yet another long shot in the horseracing odds, will make a run at the Belmont Stakes wagering title. On his outside shoulder Uptowncharlybrown, a mount with a chance at winning this race will run out of Lane 3.

Make Music for Me, an additional mount with long sports wagering odds, has a good post, racing out of Lane 4 and right adjacent to the stars in this year's Belmont odds game.

Lanes 5, six, and 7 will filled by Fly Down, Ice Box, and Drosselmyer, respectively, and these are undoubtedly the cash lanes of the 2010 Belmont Stake wagering competition. Drosselmyer is far behind in the horseracing odds competition. Ice Box and Fly down are the two favorites for this race.

Game on Dude and Stately Victor are both horses to keep your eye on. They're coming out of lanes 8 and 9, which are pretty fair post assignments and may also produce a victorious mount as their occupants.

Stay Put will race out of Lane 10 and right next to First Dude in Lane 11, one of the favorites to win the Belmont odds competition, but this outside post assignment will no doubt diminish his horseracing odds.

Interactif, a huge time long shot, will have his odds widened ever further beginning in the far post (Lane 12). Hopefully at 1 ½ miles this element ought to be mitigated to some degree and if the mount is a contender he'll find a way to the finish line. Interactif is trained by Todd Pletcher, who is unquestionably a force to be reckoned with in terms of training horses.

Todd Pletcher is the trainer of Super Saver, who picked up the Kentucky Derby this year. In December 1995, Pletcher became a trainer and got his 1st win with Majestic Number in February of 1996 at Gulfstream Park in Florida. In 2005 his stable won nearly $21 million in purses from 10 Grade 1 competitions, setting a record for purses won in a single season. He beat his own record the following year when his stable earned more than $27 million in purses. He broke yet another record for the most Stakes wins in a year with his 93rd win in October of 2006. Rags to Riches, another mount he trained, became the first filly since 1905 to win the Belmont Stakes in 2007.
