In few of the cases, MS Access may not respond at all or you may see data in tables and queries as ‘#Name’. The non-appearance of the objects in the navigation pane may also be observed. This is really a problematic situation and needs to be tackled in a diligent manner.
Reason behind this error message
These symptoms may arise when the database you using is the shared database and is being used simultaneously by more than two Windows Vista based systems and probably the database is lying in the corrupted state. The use of the Server Message Block on the system can contribute to this cause. Or maybe there are two or more Windows Vista-based computers trying to use the database at the same time.

SMB (Server Message Block) is an application level network protocol so as to provide shred access to the files like of MS Access. SMB2 is the updated version of SMB which has the ability to adding the capability to join multiple actions into a single request, thus reducing the round-trips.
Solution to this problem
Microsoft has suggested getting the latest service pack of Windows Vista which will avoid the possible future problems. But the corruption is already prevailing in the database and it can be resolved using third party Access Repair software. Software scans the corrupted access database files and creates its new working .MDB database file. Due to corruption in .MDB file all its items becomes inaccessible and to recover them you need Access Database Repair software. It recovers objects like tables, queries, relationships and repairs password protected MS Access or .MDB files.
