Of course, they can also come with the ties that criss-cross at front or back but these days they don’t necessarily have to cinch in the waist. They are normally there for decoration or to entice the man to unlace his conquest before doing what comes naturally.

Panties also come in various shapes. Currently ‘boy’ shorts are riding the popularity wave and look great on a curvy figure. They are normally made from stretch lace, in either solid or see through style, and fit very snugly against the skin.

Bikini style pants, too, are popular and come in all shades and sizes. Some of these have little innovations that may shock the primmer people amongst us. Crotchless are for the more daring and is an added surprise for the partner in the relationship.

For the really daring, the thong is the flimsiest piece of lingerie available. This garment, made up of a small triangle of material and string like attachments, is possible one of the most popular garments on sale. Many ladies wear this style of panty on a daily basis and they say that they not only feel sexy, but free also.

For wedding nights, or maybe anniversaries or special occasions, there are full lace outfits available. Brides not only like to wear white for the wedding itself but also for the ‘first night’. These outfits can be as prim or outrageous as the wearer dares to wear. Some prefer floor length satin negligee sets while others will prefer something short and flirty. Add a lacey garter to the whole ensemble and it becomes a favorite outfit.

Teddies, an all-in-one outfit, much like a corset but with no bones or ties, have also become very popular. Some have under-wired sections to support the bust, while others have a surprise thong section at the back. Some ladies like to add suspenders and stockings to the ensemble for added effect.

The firm favorite for many years, naturally, has been the suspender belt and stockings. For some reason, only known to the males amongst us, these items never go out of fashion. Innovations like ‘hold-up’ stockings, that don’t need suspenders, have found a niche in the market but if you ask a man what is the sexiest outfit he can think of, he is likely to answer ‘suspenders and stockings’ every time!

Sometimes women can look extremely sexy in men type clothing. A man-style shirt looks exceptionally glamorous if teamed with a matching or contrasting thong or bikini pant. How fetching does a woman look in the top half of men’s pajamas? This goes double if the shirt is made of sheer fabric and made for her size.

When it comes to dressing up, again the choice is virtually endless. Some like to see their ladies in a short nurse-style outfit, but with added suspenders and stockings and perhaps a thong. Others would prefer dramatic red and black outfits – maybe black leather or rubber – to accentuate the figure. Some dressing up outfits come in the form of ‘bridal’outfits complete with a very short dress, veil, elbow length gloves etc, but there is no doubt that this is not the real thing. This would be great outfit for an anniversary of the wedding day.

With the leather outfits comes a sort of ‘dominatrix’ feel; something a little dangerous which elevates the impact of the outfit. Can you imagine wearing the ‘bride’ outfit one night and the ‘dominatrix’ outfit on the next? What a way to keep the man guessing!

To add to the glamour of this style of lingerie manufacturers have come up with a full range of exotic style jewelry and accessories. Long satin gloves, in many colors, diamante jewelry that sparkles at every turn, and dress jewelry in all colors to brighten and accessorize the finished look. Even tiaras are available for an elegant look with matching bracelets etc to finish the overall look of any outfit.
