Iam of the opinion that almost absolutely nothing of critical significance comes for free. Each Sunday morning, however, sitting in that concrete forum, half-way back over a right side, the speakers words remind me that there's a single exception.

With each passing week, I discover myself humbled but increasingly grateful for the blessings I have in our concrete forum.

One of people blessings, you may be interested to know, stands out as the trustworthy pleasure I have in knowing you. Each opportunity I have to get together with members of this trade allows me to achieve a much better sense of who you might be and who I’m talking to in these pages. The recent World of Concrete show was 1 this kind of opportunity. Not just did I get the chance to see quite a few very good friends, I also had the excellent fortune to build several new ones.

Starting my journey property from Las Vegas the Saturday morning after, on my 18-hour drive back to Oregon from your desert and over snow-covered mountains, I had some much-needed time to reflect on my week at the concrete forum. A well-known theme that ran via most of my thoughts was the faces of folks I met. In particular, it was the expressions of enthusiasm that I saw on so many of you. Now you know why this trade is so contagious!

Decorative concrete forum continues to achieve interest. I’ve witnessed this interest grow steadily with every passing season. In you I see an excitement to learn, to create, and most importantly, a want to connect with others. These attributes not only fuel my enthusiasm for publishing, it’s the stuff that I’m confident will lead your organization and this trade to increasing measures of success, and most assuredly, to lands far and wide.

We’re all aware from the truth that tough jobs comes along to your ride. Not often do things go right. Neither is it effortless to fix errors that may perhaps ultimately pull hard-earned funds out of our pockets and concrete forum. At people moments, after the excitement fades and work gets the better of us, that’s once perseverance and yes, a degree of humility are critical.

If others don’t realize our struggles, how can they ever appreciate the full measure of our creations at the concrete forum? Today, other industries are heading as far as to make new associations to address the impact that decorative concrete has on their respective businesses. If there were ever a time we needed to polish our shoes and straighten our ties, it’s now.
