Human resource plays a significant role in the success of any organization. Effective working of an organization requires working in teams. Building efficient teams is the most important step towards providing human resources with a qualitative work environment. Efficient teams ensure organizational success on one hand and personnel development on the other.

Are you aware that engaged employees create loyal customers who in turn create bigger profits? In this competitive world, creating loyal and productive employees is a formidable task. Gone are those days when people spent almost a lifetime in one organization. This is largely because people mechanically work for a company in exchange of the salary that they receive at the end of every month.

According to a new survey, only 21 percent of workers worldwide are engaged, which means they are ready to expend some extra effort at work while 38 percent are disengaged. The rest 41% of employees are potentially ready to be engaged using the right motivation training. It has been estimated that in the banking sector, a 5% increase in customer loyalty could produce profitability increases upwards of 25%. Organizations that have employees who are highly engaged deliver the best results. If your staff is motivated then customers will be happy and the shareholders will benefit through the company's success.

Engagement is not satisfaction or happiness, but the degree to which workers connect to the company emotionally, understand how to add value and are willing to take that action. There is a definite link between engagement and a company's financial performance. So, what makes for an engaged employee? While the level of pay is important, it's not among the top 10 motivators. What employees are looking for is open communication, communication that reflects the fact that senior management really understands how the work gets done, recognizes and appreciates the individual's efforts.

It is important for the leaders of the team or the organization to craft relevant team building programs that provide insight into team member’s behavior and talents, thus providing a lifelong value addition for the participants. Team building events provide an opportunity for people working in different areas of the company to come together and have some fun and take back some glorious memories about their work mates. Corporate team building, hospitality events, away days and investments in employees' well-being and personal development are amongst ways of demonstrating appreciation of employee's contribution and value. When a company invests in its staff, the staff is free to invest in the company.

Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. It is the ability to direct your individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results. The end result is to create a work environment in which every person feels like his or her contribution is a vital and valued part of the organization’s success. By organizing effective hospitality events, motivational conferences and team building programmes that genuinely develop communication skills and build winning relationships with staff and senior management, companies can make a significant impact on staff engagement and customer loyalty. Loyal customers in turn create bigger profit potential, no matter how tough the market.

A well-bonded team is expected to deliver meaningful results promptly and efficiently. A triumphant team rounds up common agreeable objectives and zealously follows them up as a single shared goal. They are committed to work it out to its successful completion with a streak of winning attitude and mutual cooperation. Go ahead and plan a team building event to ensure the success of your organization.
