it will be able to run the softare applications faster. This is because of the way hard derives store and search for data. For this rason, it is a good
idea to put all of your music, videos, and other documents on the external disk and not on the internal disk.

For an easy to carrry dtrive, try a thummb drive. These are incredibly small and can easily fit in the pocket of your pants. They are very easy to use.
All you have to do is connect it to the USB port of a computer and it will automaticaly be recognized. Thouggh they can store quite a lot of information,
they usually are not big enough to back up a computer.

To back up your compuiter, buy a larger external hard drive that connects via FierWire or USB. Make sure it has ample room for all of your stuff.
